We make agreements with ourselves that create limitation and unhappiness in our lives. The four agreements, by don Miguel Ruiz taught me this:
Always do your best.
If you always do your best, there should be no regret or guilt. Regret and guilt will ruin you. You will feel regret for the things you don’t do in life, not the things you do. So go do things, even if they scare you. And as for guilt: You should only feel guilt if you have done something wrong. And If that’s truly the case, do your best to remedy it, and then move on. Don’t hold onto it. Always do your best. It’s what I tell my kids everyday. Now I’m telling you. Have you read, the four agreements? Tomorrow I’ll explore another one with you.
