God meets all our needs, physical and spiritual. Therefore, God provides our daily bread (Matthew 6:11). He sends us on this road, or journey, if you will, and we must make that journey worthwhile.
Our. Daily. Ride.
Our = my husband, myself, our boys. Daily = we spend every day together. Ride = think scary roller coaster, bumpy horseback, windy bicycle, and most important (per Jeff) a speedy motorcycle ride. This is our attempt to take this journey for the blessing it is.
Every Single Day is a New Adventure
As hard as we try to make plans and stay on task, there still is “today”. Especially with kids, you need to live in the present. Not only do they grow up so fast, but they don’t understand why we delay pleasures and make plans for so far into the future. Kids live in the present. If we don’t live here with them, we’ll miss it. Look for a new joy and a new challenge every day. You’re sure to find them.
Life is like a roller coaster (or a motorcycle ride). You can either scream every time there is a bump, or you can throw your hands up and enjoy the ride. Well, unless you’re driving… don’t let go completely.
